Pirates Should Start Eldred against Lefties

Time for the Pirates to consider using Brad Eldred at first against left handed pitchers. Adam Laroche is hitting a blistering .97 with only 3 hits, and even though it’s early some people are beginning to question the off-season trade of Mike Gonzalez for him. LaRoche is 0-9 against lefties and his former team the Braves occasionally sat him against left-handers. Eldred is VERY strikeout pone, but had a good spring and believe it or not only has 1 K in 6 at-Bats this year.
