Quick take on the WPIAL Football Playoffs 2007
Cause the audio is a little choppy:
AAAA – Central vs. North Allegheny would be the dream match-up, in the finals, but watch out for Gateway.
AAA – Thomas Jefferson vs. Montour in battle of un-beatens, maybe. Char Valley has played both of tough, watch out for an upset with Blackhawk, Franklin Regional, and Knoch dream of reaching the big stage.
AA – Jeannette vs. ???? Well it’s FC’s easiest road yet, Beaver Falls and Steel Valley will battle it out the most difficult quarter bracket. Aliquippa interesting they are on the same side as Jeannette, could there be a big JB vs. Terrelle showdown in the semis?
A – Clairton is the team to beat, Serra Catholic, Monaca, Monessen, Springdale, just might be able to do that.
Overall – This year there only seems to be a handful of teams capable of winning in each classification, but you never know after all this is high school football.
Great job to all the players, coaches, parents, etc. for a good season so far.
