Just when you thought no one could do a worst job as a GM than David Littlefield, the Pirate's new GM, Neal Huntington is already working on besting Littlefield.
He hired John Russell, the same person the Pirates fired two years ago. You may remember him for taking all that heat on the call-in shows for sending base-runners.
The Pirates are setting new lows in the world of sports, the Boston coach would have been given the job, but he didn't even want to waste his time on even interviewing with the Pirates. Now they hire a guy who they recently fired as a coach, to be manager.
