Butler PA, native Matt Clement is sitting at home waiting for the Pirates to call. He is a free agent, often injured pitcher, who is still getting some demand from teams across the league. He is 33, which isn't old for a pitcher. The Pirates might even be able to offer Clement a 1 year deal, in hopes he would regain his form.
Clement still lives in Western PA, and seems would welcome a chance to play close to home, however the Pirates have yet inquired.
