Just in time for Valentine's Day!

A SKYLIT DRIVE

A Skylit Drive have posted another new song along with its backstory from vocalist Michael "Jag" Jagmin.  "Ex Marks The Spot" is off of their upcoming album Identity On Fire, out February 15th.

Or check it out here:

"The song is about how hard things can get on the road when you have a girlfriend back home. We've all been there many many times. 'Ex Marks the Spot' is the part of you that still tries to feel normal through all the chaos that comes along with living on the road."  So says A Skylit Drive frontman Michael "Jag" Jagmin of "Ex Marks the Spot,".

Not to mention it's kinda ironic that the Warped Tour is here in Atlanta today
and the Warped Tour is where I first got to meet these guys and hang out with them all day on their Tour Bus and backstage! Clark was a very sweet generous guy and just wanted us to have a good time, and that we did! Definatly a day I will never forget.

**UPDATE** Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It to air on VH1

****UPDATE 5/17/10*****
"VH1 will air a half-hour special first look at Bret Michaels: Life As I Know It on Monday, May 31 with the full series set to premiere in Fall 2010. The series will show the audience Bret's life "when he isn't touring, shooting, partying and rocking out.""

****UPDATE 5/5/10****
"Bret Michaels has been released from the Phoenix, Arizona, hospital where he has been treated since suffering a massive brain hemorrhage 12 days ago, his neurosurgeon said Tuesday.

Doctors "are feeling pretty confident" that Michaels will not suffer another hemorrhage and will fully recover, Dr. Joseph Zabramski said.
The rock singer and reality TV star faces four to six weeks of rest before he can resume a normal schedule, the doctor said."

***UPDATE 4/28/10****
A USA Today source quoted: "While rocker Bret Michaels was upgraded to "critical but stable" condition yesterday, his publicist says he has also suffered a "setback."
A note on Bret's site says he is experiencing "a side effect from the brain hemorrhage called hyponatremia a lack of sodium in the body which leads to seizures." Michaels remains under 24-hour observation in the ICU unit in an Arizona hospital "and is in positive spirits," the note says. "He is responding well to tests and treatments. Even though today was a minor setback, doctors remain hopeful for a full recovery."

***UPDATE 4/27/10***
A source close to the situation said, "Bret is still in ICU. He still has the headache and is heavily sedated." Michaels is being watched by doctors in the Intensive Care Unit.

****4/23/10****
"Poison frontman and reality TV star Bret Michaels is reportedly in critical condition after sustaining a brain hemorrhage Thursday night. Michaels, 47, was rushed to a hospital after complaining of an excruciating headache and doctors performed several CAT scans, MRIs and an aniogram before keeping him in the ICU."

We are praying for you buddy!

Hanson's new Album due June 8, 2010

HANSON, SHOUT IT OUT (June 8)

"In the years since ''MMMBop,'' the brotherly trio has become an accomplished pop-rock group. This is their first album since 2007 — and since lead singer Taylor Hanson made new fans by teaming with members of the Smashing Pumpkins, Cheap Trick, and Fountains of Wayne for the supergroup Tinted Windows last year."

Just for fun

I See Stars Acoustic cover of The Outfield's "Your Love":

(His voice is a little to whiny in the acoustic version, but I definatly jam the studio version in my car.)

Check out Punk Goes Classic Rock for some fun new versions of your favorite classics. My favorites on the album is "Caught up in you" a 38special original covered by We The Kings, and "Take me home tonight" Eddie Money covered by Every Avenue.

I buy all the "Punk Goes..." records, this is the 9th release and is by far my favorite.. it reminds me of summer for some reason! Maybe because I have seen most of the Original bands that are covered on this album live at summer concerts.
