Book Character Withdrawals

Do you ever read a book that you are so into that you can't wait to finish to see what happens, but then you sad when it ends! Then hours, and maybe even days go by when you still find yourself thinking about the characters and missing them? Maybe this makes me sound crazy, but when I read a good book this is how I feel afterward. And I instantly want to start reading another book right away....would they call this the "rebound" book?

Anyway, my guilty pleasure is reading rather pathetic books. Teen Novels. They are just so entertaining though! And nice easy reads. Another embarrassingly admitted guilty pleasure...reading celebrity written books. I am just intrigued that all these celebs out there put books out there.  I like to read them to see if they are even good, and to actually experience what these celebs "write" about.

So put this two extremely guilty pleasures together and you get get Teen Novels written by Celebrities, Elixir by Hilary Duff. There, I said it, and I read it, and it was soo good! I can't believe I am admitting this on my blog, but it was a good I kind of could not put down. It is the first of a series and I am already looking forward to the next book (pathetic, I know!). But there it is, one of my many guilty pleasures...and I highly suggest you check it out!

The book is kind of a love story/mystery. It is not as corny as some might expect, it has some depth to it, some twists and turns, and some love-triangles going on. All the good stuff!

Click HERE to purchase through Amazon.com, read some additional reviews, and the book synopsis!

So cheers to Hilary Duff for her debut book success!
